Our goal is to enhance the future of our local agricultural resources by increasing public awareness through Agricultural Education, reinforcing the importance of farming, promoting sustainability, the economic impact it has on our community and participating in related legislation.

-According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s 2023 Consumer Expenditure Survey, 41.5 percent of domestic food purchases are groceries for home, while 58.5 percent is spent away from home.
-American consumers spend an average of 11.2% if their disposable income for food.
-According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the average family of four will earn enough money to pay for their entire food supply for one year after seven weeks of working. By comparison, it takes 100 days of work to earn enough income to pay your taxes.
